Wrelton is a small rural village to the north of the A170 (Thirsk to Scarborough road) and is located between the market towns of Pickering and Kirkbymoorside in the Vale of Pickering and on the southern edge of the North York Moors.

Travelling from Pickering continue on the A170, through the villages of Middleton and Aislaby. When leaving Aislaby take the first turn right signposted Wrelton, continue forward entering Wrelton village. Continue forward up Wrelton High Street and then at the top of the street, on the left hand bend turn off to the Right signposted Cawthorne. Continue up Cawthorne Lane for approximately 1 mile and the land is past Crook Farm on the left hand side to the west of the road.
